You love visiting Sagrada Família, walking around Parc de la Ciutadella and eating a delicious “tapa”, but when it’s summer, Barcelona means specially one thing: beach time!
Today we visit la Barceloneta, one of the most important and the favourite one for foreigners.

Me too!
I love Barcelona because it’s pretty easy to get to the beach and sunbathe or have a dive.
But hey… What beach do you prefer?
We have seven different beaches, each one with its own characteristics.

Montjuïc’s views

Montjuïc is the place to go if you want to have a big picture of Barcelona.
Apart from having lots of interesting places: MNAC, Fundació Miró, the Costa i LLobera gardens…
Really, this is just the beginning! Take a look here to plan your visit.
But one of the most amazing things of Montjuïc is its wonderful views. From the top you will see Sagrada Família, Torre Agbar, Tibidabo…
And not only the city… At the other side of the mountain, you can have a relaxing walk through “El camí del mar”, from where you will see the sea and the port.

It’s time to pick up your binoculars, Montjuïc is waiting for you!
And remember that after visiting and walking around, you can have a dive at Picornell’s pools!

Golondrines by the sea

Are you in the mood for a sea ride?

Near Maremagnum and Colom there are the “Golondrines”, some boats that will take you to see a beautiful view of the city from the sea.

They are really typical, and not only for tourists, but also for Barcelona’s inhabitants. They have been working for more than a hundred years (well, the boats are not the same, of course!), and they are as amazing as then!
