Very near <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/08/walking-through-les-rambles-of-barcelona/">Les Rambles</a>, there is a very interesting street.<br />
It combines history, culture and new trends like no other place in the city.<br />
I&#8217;m talking about <a href="http://maps.google.es/maps?f=q&#038;source=s_q&#038;hl=es&#038;geocode=&#038;q=TALLERS,+Barcelona&#038;sll=40.396764,-3.713379&#038;sspn=9.717901,18.435059&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;hq=TALLERS,&#038;hnear=Barcelona&#038;z=13&#038;iwloc=A">Carrer Tallers</a>.<br />
Shops here have always been related to <strong>culture</strong>, from <strong>music</strong> to <strong>bookshops</strong>, and of course, <strong>fashion</strong>.<br />
Very near, don&#8217;t forget to visit <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/08/skating-placa-dels-angels-in-barcelona/">MACBA</a>, or to have a drink at <a href="http://www.ovellanegra.com/en/home/home.asp">&#8220;La ovella negra&#8221;</a>.<br />
<strong>As for the street&#8217;s name history&#8230;</strong><br />
You will have to watch the video!<br />

Every <strong>April 23rd</strong> Barcelona lives a big celebration.<br />
<strong>Specially couples</strong>, who buy roses and books for their partners.<br />
Authors sign their books, and <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/08/walking-through-les-rambles-of-barcelona/">les Rambles</a> is full of people walking up and down all day.<br />
So&#8230; What about you?<br />

And when I say <strong>in the middle of the city, I really mean it. </strong><br />
Have you ever imagined sleeping at <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/11/finding-sant-felip-neri/">Sant Felip Neri</a>? <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/09/beaches-in-barcelona/">At the beach</a>? Or at <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2010/02/el-parc-de-la-ciutadella-barcelonas-lungs/">Parc de la Ciutadella? </a><br />
Well, it&#8217;s possible at Hotel Curious, because every room has a photo of Barcelona in one of its walls.<br />
Furthermore, it is located at carrer del Carme, in the very centre of Barcelona.<br />
Near it there are awesome places like <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/09/boquerias-market/">Boqueria&#8217;s market</a>, <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/08/walking-through-les-rambles-of-barcelona/">les Rambles</a>, <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/07/placa-catalunya/">Plaça Catalunya</a>, <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/11/chocolate-at-petritxol-street/">Petrítxol street</a> and many more!</p>
<p>And of course, with a little imagination, you will be able to take your photos for your album at the hotel room!<br />

First of all, it is not clear where he was born, although Genoa is the most accepted place.<br />
Then some people say he was jew, others, portuguese, also spanish and, of course, catalan.<br />
Well, we&#8217;ll leave that history mysteries to the experts.<br />
What is obvious is that <strong>Colón&#8217;s monument is one of the must-see in the city</strong>. Located at the end of <a href="http://www.videosfrombarcelona.com/2009/08/walking-through-les-rambles-of-barcelona/">Les Rambles</a>, you can take the elevator and have a panoramic view of the city.<br />
And from there, <strong>try to guess where is his finger pointing at&#8230;</strong></p>

31st october means candles, sweets, ghosts, zombies and witches all over the world&#8230; Yeah, it&#8217;s Halloween time!<br />
But we have to say that in Barcelona, <strong>we are more into &#8220;la castanyada&#8221;</strong>. What? You don&#8217;t know about it?<br />
OK. Just take a look at the video. <strong>We eat &#8220;castanyes&#8221; and &#8220;panellets&#8221;</strong>. They are delicicous, but they aren&#8217;t really diet food&#8230;<br />
But hey, it&#8217;s just for one day!<br />
Remember that only these days you will see our &#8220;castanyers i castanyeres&#8221; all around the city, so <strong>it&#8217;s in october or never</strong>!</p>
