That’s why we thought we needed to remember our walk through la Barceloneta in summer.

Sant Josep Oriol and del Pi squares

Can anybody be at two places at the same time?
In Barcelona, yes!
Sant Josep Oriol square and del Pi square are one next to the other in the heart of the city.
A very curious situation that make them a very special place.
Every weekend, there are two different markets: one focused on food made in a traditional way and the other with painters showing their works.
Moreover, you can visit del Pi’s church or have a drink in one of the bars in the squares.
In fact, you will be able to show your musical talent in one of them.

Chocolate at Petritxol street

And you thought it’s always hot in Barcelona? Not in winter…
But I have the perfect remedy: a hot and delicious chocolate at Petritxol street!
This narrow street next to les Rambles has some chocolate bars where you must stop by.
Moreover, take a look at the ceramics on the walls, where you will discover details about the city’s and its people’s history. And of course, don’t forget visiting the art galleries, bookshops and original shops along the street.
And believe me, there is nothing better than a chocolate with “churros” in a cold evening at Petritxol.
Highly addictive!

El pica-pica

Maybe summer is finished, but in Barcelona we can still enjoy a lot of sunny days!
And there is no better way to do it than having a delicious “pica-pica” with friends or family…
You don’t know what “fer el pica-pica” means? Really easy!
Imagine olives, spicy potatoes, some iberian products and a cold beer or a vermouth. Yes, that’s it!
And there are a lot of terraces and bars in the city waiting for you.
Actually, I’m feeling hungry … I want some “patates braves” now!

I love Barceloneta!
It has everything you can imagine. You can go to the beach, have a dive or even take a ride on your bicycle. In fact, you will see a lot people doing exercise at any hour of the day!
But above all, I like because there is always a lot of people. It’s really a lively place! There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. In fact, I met two friends during the shooting… You’ll have to watch the video if you want to meet them!
And finally, to make your day complete, I recommend you to have some “patates braves” with a cold beer. You’ll never regret it!

Boqueria’s Market

Where can you find fresh and delicious food in Barcelona? At Mercat de la Boqueria, of course!

It is a very big and wonderful market next to Les Rambles. I love shopping there, because they have everything I like: fresh fruit, fish, meat, vegetables… Everything is so colourful and tasty! Moreover, if you get tired, you can have delicious juices or even have some “tapas” and make a break in one of the bars in the market.

Now you know La Boqueria… Who said that doing the shopping was hard?
