Very near Les Rambles, there is a very interesting street.
It combines history, culture and new trends like no other place in the city.
I’m talking about Carrer Tallers.
Shops here have always been related to culture, from music to bookshops, and of course, fashion.
Very near, don’t forget to visit MACBA, or to have a drink at “La ovella negra”.

Walking around el Born

Sometimes, you need to find something special, unique.
A present for someone, or just for yourself.
Well, el Born is the perfect place. You can visit Santa Maria del Mar or have a look at el Fossar de les Moreres, and the go shopping.
Clothes, shoes, jewellery, art… Everything in this quarter is trendy and original.
Actually, some of these shops only exist here.
And if after shopping, you still have time, go through the narrow streets and find Picasso’s museum.
It will be worth it!

Sant Josep Oriol and del Pi squares

Can anybody be at two places at the same time?
In Barcelona, yes!
Sant Josep Oriol square and del Pi square are one next to the other in the heart of the city.
A very curious situation that make them a very special place.
Every weekend, there are two different markets: one focused on food made in a traditional way and the other with painters showing their works.
Moreover, you can visit del Pi’s church or have a drink in one of the bars in the squares.
In fact, you will be able to show your musical talent in one of them.

Shopping at Portaferrissa

Are you willing to do some shopping in the city? No problem!
Portaferrissa street is the perfect place to get some new clothes at reasonable prices.
All along the street you will find clothes, shoes, jewellery, bars… It’s probably the place you will find more bags per person in Barcelona.
Please, don’t forget to visit the most known shop in the street, with its curious keeper at the outside.
And remember, that at the end of the shop, there is a very nice terrace where we have already been in our “Summer clothes” video.
Prepare your wallet and let’s go shopping!

Christmas at Barcelona

25 de desembre, fum, fum, fum!
Yeah, it’s Christmas at Barcelona!
And maybe it doesn’t snow here (well, sometimes it does!), but our Christmas’ spirit remains intact.
Every year, from the first of december until Chirstmas’ Eve, “La Fira de Santa Llúcia” is set at La catedral’s square. It’s the perfect place to get the perfect decorations for your house: trees, lights, Santa Claus dolls, nativity scenes, “el caganer”, “un tió”…
Do you know all about them? How we sing to a trunk and hit it to get some candy? Or that we join to the nativity scene a quite unpolite figure?
Then, watch our video.
And then, write to Santa Claus or the Three Wise Men to ask for your presents.
I already did it!

Chocolate at Petritxol street

And you thought it’s always hot in Barcelona? Not in winter…
But I have the perfect remedy: a hot and delicious chocolate at Petritxol street!
This narrow street next to les Rambles has some chocolate bars where you must stop by.
Moreover, take a look at the ceramics on the walls, where you will discover details about the city’s and its people’s history. And of course, don’t forget visiting the art galleries, bookshops and original shops along the street.
And believe me, there is nothing better than a chocolate with “churros” in a cold evening at Petritxol.
Highly addictive!

Walking through Les Rambles of Barcelona

Les Rambles is the most colourful place in Barcelona. It is always full of people walking up and down, either tourists or not.

The human statues, the animals, the flowers… All of them make a big impression in every visitor.

And guess what! Les Rambles have a special fountain called Canaletes. It isn’t just where we celebrate all of FC Barcelona’s victories.

It has something magical…

Shopping at Passeig de Gràcia

Passeig de Gràcia is a street full of shops like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Diesel, Replay, Tous or Nespresso. You can go there just for a walk or spend all your money in a purse… You choose. Those shops aren’t cheap, but I’m gonna post another street with affordable prices, for everyone

Barcelona’s Eixample

Eixample district was designed by Ildefons Cerdà. It is famous for its grid system of straight streets and for the quantity of the architectural expression of Modernisme.

The main avenue is Passeig de Gràcia where you can find La Pedrera, but I suggest you to have a walk along Eixample’s streets…and looking up at the beautiful façades!

Plaça Catalunya

Plaça Catalunya is the core of the city. Everybody meets there to go for a drink, shopping of whatever, so it’s normal to see people standing up waiting for their friends.

Well, I am affraid of piggeons (as you can see), but some people gives them food. You can buy it there if you want to feed those rats with wings… I preffer not to do it…
