Today we visit la Barceloneta, one of the most important and the favourite one for foreigners.

Museu Frederic Marès

Now that is summer, there’s always time for a drink.
But although Barcelona is full of bars and terraces, there are other spaces.
Like Museu Frederic Marès, very near from the cathedral.
In it, you can visit el Verger, a wonderful courtyard, where you will find Cafè d’estiu: drinks, snacks, and free wi-fi connection!
So… Juice or lemonade?

Me too!
I love Barcelona because it’s pretty easy to get to the beach and sunbathe or have a dive.
But hey… What beach do you prefer?
We have seven different beaches, each one with its own characteristics.

Laberint d’Horta, Barcelona’s wonderland

This morning, we were at Laberint d’Horta, shooting a video, when something happened.
It is one of the most wonderful and original parks in Barcelona.
So, if you see a little sweet bunny while you enter the labyrinth, just tell me.

Plaça Reial

This week we stay close to les Rambles.
Plaça Reial is the only square with porches in the city, and you really have to visit it.
Not only because of it’s history, but for being one of the hotspots in Barcelona.
During the day, bars and restaurants to have a drink or sit down and eat something.
At night, a place with a very active nightlife.
Furthermore, during weekends, a lot of activities (clowns, music concerts, exhibitions…) take place at Plaça Reial.

Barcelona from the air with Telefèric!

Let’s remember.
We have run at Parc del Fòrum, we have ridden a bike and we even have been in a Golondrina.
What were we missing? A perspective of the city from the air.
Well, not anymore!
Hopping on the Telefèric is a wonderful way to visit Montjuïc and enjoy the view of the whole city.
You will be able to see Torre Agbar, la Sagrada Família, and many other.
So… What are you waiting for?

Arc de Triomf

Arc de Triomf is one of the reference points in Barcelona.
It is near Parc de la Ciutadella, that’s why it’s a very crowded area, and you will see citizens and tourists riding their bikes or just walking.
This monument is very curious, because while triumph archs were always built as a tribute to victories in battles, this one was conceived as the entrance of the 1888’s Universal Exposition. We are of peace!
Furthermore, near Arc de Triomf you have a wide variety of transport: bus, metro or train.
And finally, very near, there is a really delicious museum.
Will you resist the temptation?

History and music at Plaça del rei

Today, another hidden place in the city.
Do you know Plaça del Rei?
It’s a really wonderful square near Plaça Sant Jaume.
There, you will find Museu Històric de la Ciutat, which keeps all the information about the ancient city.
And if you are lucky, you’ll be able to listen to some music, played by urban performers.
In our case, we shooted with some spanish guitar as musical background…
Amazing, isn’t it?

La Diagonal

Welcome to la Diagonal!
In this long of avenue where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and many more!
La Diagonal divides the city in two parts, and it’s a must-see in your visit.
And don’t worry, because you will find bus stops, underground stations, taxis and many more to get wherever you want…
Or if you want, you can walk all along…
But take some food and drinking, because it is about 11km long!
Anyway, watch the actual avenue, because it is going to be renewed. Take a look here!

Love at Turó Parc

Love is in the air… Yes! I can feel springtime all around!
That’s why I want to show you Turó Parc, one of the most romantic spots at the city.
You can have a walk around it’s lake, or even read some poems from Lorca, Salvador Espriu or Dylan Thomas.
Did you know that at first the Turó Parc opened as a fairground? Then, its owners sold a part to the city, in order to become a public park, as we know it today.
Apart from the green, there is also a children playground.
Don’t miss it if you come to the city with your children… Or if you feel like Peter Pan!
You won’t regret it!
